Colin Finan

Public Affairs and Policy Associate

Colin Finan, public affairs and policy associate at the Project on Emerging Nanotechnologies, received a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was Managing Editor of the university’s independent daily student newspaper.

Before coming to the project, he was a reporter and editor at Inside Washington Publishers for several years. While there he covered the Environmental Protection Agency, which included in-depth reporting on nanotechnology policy issues. Finan has also worked as a reporter and editor for various news organizations in New Mexico, New York and Illinois, and has contributed to a number of national magazines.
